The Aligera AG1700 Media Gateway is a solution for interconnecting SS7 signaling networks with capacity for up to 16 E1 interfaces and advanced media transcoding and echo cancellation functions for improved voice service quality. The AG1700 combines signaling and media functions in one device, with small size, high density E1 interfaces, space and energy savings and lower maintenance and support costs.
